This simple cheese sauce is like magic! Let’s show you how to transform a couple simple ingredients (one of which is, of all things, a carrot) into a nacho cheese sauce, no alchemy required.
- One large carrot or two medium carrots, boiled
- One medium potato, boiled or microwaved (if microwaving, leave skin while microwaving and peel after)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Remove skin from potato.
- Place potato and carrot into food processor and mix well. Add water as needed to create smooth consistency.
- Add other ingredients and process until thoroughly mixed.
